We collect the personal data that you may volunteer while using our services -- for example when placing an order for a product. This data would include: Name, Address, Telephone Number, e-mail Address, Credit Card Account Information (Note: As in any transaction, your credit card company will have access to the information about the transaction date, items purchased, and total cost. BeyondDefence.com will not provide any other personal data to credit card companies). BeyondDefence.com is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others for purposes of solicitation. Any information gathered by us is used ONLY to assist us in delivering a purchase to your home or business. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your order. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with you. We do not collect information about our visitors from other sources, such as public records or bodies, or private organizations. Private Customer information (credit cards numbers) will not be kept on file for more than time then required to complete the transaction without your explicit permission. We do provide a customer login facility that will provide you with the ability to store your billing and shipping information if you choose to do so. We do not require this function which can only be activated by the customer. We do not store Credit Card information in this function. For security reason we require that you enter in your credit card number manually for each purchase when paying through our shopping cart.
You may already have an account established with third party payment providers that we make available like PayPal or Google Checkout. If you choose to make your payment through a third party, they have custodian responsibility for your personal information. We do not collect customer information from third party payment providers.
The e-mail address you provide to us when ordering is used for order confirmation as well as follow up to make certain you are satisfied with your purchase. We periodically send out discount coupons to existing customers via e-mail. We understand that you may not want to receive these discount notifications. Simply e-mail customercare@BeyondDefence.com to be deleted from this list.
Children's Privacy
BeyondDefence.com is a general interest site on Personal safety Equipment and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. However, we do not take specific steps to protect the privacy of children who disclose their personal data to us. We have implemented data protection practices and technical measures to protect all the personal data that we have under our control.
